About the Conference

Parallel2026 is the flagship technical meeting dedicated to parallel kinematic mechanisms (PKMs) and related closed‑chain and hybrid architectures. The conference brings together researchers and practitioners working on theory, design, modeling, control, manufacturing and applications across machining, medical and surgical robotics, haptics, aerospace, construction and more.

Continuing the tradition of the 2002 (Québec), 2014 (Tianjin) and 2020 (Belfast) editions, the program features peer‑reviewed papers, invited keynotes, tutorials, workshops, industrial demos, a student forum, and special sessions on emerging topics such as reconfigurable/multi mode mechanisms and cable driven parallel robots.

Submission & Publication
  • Single‑blind peer review by at least two experts.

  • Proceedings: indexed volume planned; journal special‑issue invitations anticipated.
  • At least one author must register and present in person unless explicitly approved for remote presentation.
  • Templates (Word) will be provided on this website.
 

Rules

  • Workshop accepted paper must have at least one full registration by the camera‑ready deadline.
  • Workshop presentation expected unless a remote option is approved by the organizers.
  • Workshop registration includes access to technical sessions, networking events, coffee breaks, lunches and electronic proceedings.
  • Workshop pass includes networking events and city visits.
  • Workshop/tutorial registration covers the selected day only.
